One day I asked Liam, "Do you want to make cookies for the garbage man?" Oh boy. He jumped on that. So we made cookies and we bagged up the best of the best and I was going to set the baggie on the counter until I heard the garbage truck coming. Unacceptable. Liam had to carry the bag outside, and wait for the garbage man himself. So he waited. And waited. Luckily, it was just under a half hour of waiting. But Liam was patient.
Here he is being so patient. Holding the bag very carefully after I just harped him about not breaking the cookies by swatting the bag all over.
Showing the goods. It was SOOO cute when the garbage man finally came.
So the garbage man comes, and Liam is just standing RIGHT next to him, staring at him, in awe. He forgets to hand him the cookies, I have to pretty much take Liam's hand and guide it up to the garbage man. He smiles, tells Liam thank you, I think he may have even patted him on the head, and then put them in the cab of his truck. What a wonderful day!!!

What a cutie! Parker loves the garbage truck too, but I've never been nice enough to think about making cookies for the garbage man. You're so sweet Laura.
That is absolutely darling! I can't believe he was so patient, it's amazing what trucks will do to boys! P.S. his shirt is awesome!
It's about time you started posting again busy lady!
