Happy St. Patrick's Day! We are all wearing green today (Shayla had a sweater on with green in it), thank goodness because Ammon was on the ready this morning with his pinching skills. The two oldest woke up and checked their leprechan trap, only to find a miniature rope thrown over the edge and down the side of the trap, and a few baggies of fishy crackers left as peace offerings I'm sure. That little leprechan must've had a buddy help him get out of our fancy trap, but knew he had to leave something behind to appease our anger. :)
Breakfast was cereal, but we found our milk colored green--that little imp got into our fridge! The kids were so excited, but a little cautious about drinking green milk.
Let's say that we aren't getting ready for any Fear Factor tryouts in this household. The green eggs and ham for lunch just about pushed Ammon over the limit. He wasn't too hip on it, but after seeing Shayla eat it, and not to be outdone, he ate and guess what! He liked them! That little Sam I am.
We're finishing off the day with corned beef brisket, cabbage, and of course, the always wonderful...green jello. Minus the shredded carrot, this time. If I get enough motivation, we will make some green sugar cookies to share the St. Paddy's love. Have a fun day today and don't forget to check your house for leprechan mischief!

You are such a fun mom! Sounds like a fun day and for the record my four year old wouldn't even touch the green eggs and milk! Enjoy corned beef tonight, love you.
