It's a Loverly Day

Well, it was a perfect Mother's day, thanks to my husband. He made such a fancy breakfast of french toast, bacon and hash browns (I sure love bacon!). Then he got the kids ready for church while I fretted about my sharing time stuff. Then he and his dad and brothers made a fancy steak and salmon dinner with strawberry shortcake for dessert. We relaxed and played with the kids and all, it was a great day.

My birthday was on May 8th, I should feel another year older but I don't FEEL it, so I'm thinking this year didn't take. Or it didn't stick. I guess I can still be 31 until I really FEEL 32. Inside I still feel like I'm 22, my body looks a little different, but the inside is just the same as it was 10 years ago. Maybe a little wiser, I said MAYBE... Surely a little funnier....looking...and much more content with who I am as a person, a wife, mother, and daughter of God.

By the way, just so you know how thoughtful my husband is, he bought me 2 Celine Dion concert tickets...which means, he is going with me! I can't wait to see him wear that Celine t-shirt and chant her name for an encore in October. That will be so fantastic! What a sweet husband huh? I know, you might be jealous, and I apologize, but ladies, he's mine!

Hey, welcome to blogland! You have a very cute site, and I hope it brings you much happiness, or in my case, it alleviates much guilt about my lack of journaling and scrapbooking. This way, it's recorded in cyberspace "forever," so let the house burn down, I say! OK, maybe not. Anyway, I'm so glad to see you here!

You did not tell me about the Celine tickets! Is that because Josh told you that if you told me he would take them back? I can't wait to tell Mike!!!! You have been wanting to go to her concert for as long as I've known you, good for you. Now that that is out of my system, are you kidding me, NERD. I'm going to call my bro Marshall Matthers and get you a couple of Slim Shady tickets. Actually for you I'll get a hold of Sir-Mix-A-Lot and see if he can personally sing you your favorite song. Now that you are 32 you really need to shake that healthy butt! Love ya, California style!
