We've been having the craziest weather! A few days ago we were so hot, we were all lying on the floor with the blinds down and the fans on full blast, eating drippy popsicles and trying to avoid the heat, and today we wore long sleeves and pants, and almost had to grab a coat it was so nippy outside. What is going on? I've been waiting to put away my bulky sweaters and heavy coats, but with this kind of weather, I'll have to wear my wool coat with a t-shirt underneath, and a swimsuit in my pocket (or bag, my swimsuit is much too modest to fit in a pocket!). I was about to fill up the swimming pool, but now I'm afraid my new plants may die of frostbite in the night. Well, it keeps me guessing, and I guess it's always good to be on your toes around here and keep your eye on the sky.
We took a trip to the park, and I actually remembered to bring the camera. Ammon and Shayla LOVE to swing, and could probably just swing all day if we let them. Josh gives them HUGE underdogs, which they both love, and gives me sweaty palms just watching. They have "graduated" to the big kid swings, without the security of a complete harness system, and it's just nail biting entertainment as I watch them squeal with each underdog and almost let go in the excitement. Shayla was lifting her body out of the seat of the swing and thought that was hilarious, then Ammon decided to bonsai right off the seat in midair and landed right side up, with the splinters in hand to prove it. Liam slept about the whole time we were there, which might have been for his good, since Dad was eager to put him in a swing and take some photos. I'm just not ready for that yet. Call me timid.

I can't believe the danger queen is getting nervous about the underdogs. I guess when it is your children and not you it is different. But there is no way I'm ever going to call you timid!
